Please do not persue a man that is over 18 at your age. Girls these days look so much older than they did when I was a teenager. However, when you present yourself to a 20 something year old man and do not mention you are 16 and someone finds out if you become intimate then the man is the one that wears that tag for the rest of their life. I have someone very close to me that was in that very situation. I don't know your life and I don't know how you are but this girl was very flirty. She never told anyone she was 17 and because she was at a bar no one asked her age. They all assumed she was old enough to be there. This girl made moves on the guy that was much older and he went with it because, after all, she was in a bar and she was cute. Her mother found out and although she consented she was under age and now he is tagged as a sex offender for 15 years. Although you may never tell anyone that things are going on with you and an older man someone is going to find out at some point and if you care about a guy do you really want to see them go through court, possible jail time, probation and then have their face posted online for everyone to see they are a sex offender for 15 years? No one ever means for that to happen but it does in many cases. I hope that you will enjoy being young. If you want to have sex feel free to do whatever it is that you need to do, but stick with the guys that are your own age. At least for two more years. Then you are free to be with someone 20 years older than you if you choose to. Have fun being who you are and when the time comes for you to fall in love the right guy will definantly come along.
